My Trips means are Our Trips. 10 years ago, Karina and I set ourselves a couple of goals: investing in living, and accumulating memories. Since then we are the luckiest people in the world because to fulfill our purpose, whenever we can, we disconnect from the routine and go far away.
How many couples can travel together and spend quality time like us?

Mexico
From the most fucking beautiful place in the world and all its surroundings, I can briefly say that traveling through Mexico is one of the most beautiful experiences we have had. Get to know its beaches, from Balandra in Baja California Sur, to Tulum and Holbox in Quintana Roo; passing through the coasts of the Riviera Nayarit in Nayarit, the bay of Vallarta and Costalegre in Jalisco, the port of Manzanillo in Colima. And as a special mention: Xel Há, Xplor, and Xcaret, the best theme park in the world. Its diverse mountain landscapes such as those of the Huasteca Potosina in San Luis Potosí and the Peña de Bernal in Queretaro. The lush forests of Tapalpa and Mazamitla in Jalisco. The ancient archaeological zones of Teotihuacán in the State of Mexico and the Mayan ruins of Quintana Roo. As well as the colonial cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato in the state of Guanajuato and Morelia and Pátzcuaro in Michoacán. And the many, many magical towns that we have fallen in love with, as well as the cosmopolitan and modern nature of Mexico City and my native Guadalajara. And yes, we are waiting for the Mayan Train to be fully operational to visit the states it will connect in the southeast. We are never going to finish Mexico. Its flavors are exquisite, don't ask me for a favorite dish because I couldn't choose just one. Regarding beer, the best is Corona.

Get to know Madrid, its capital, which is home to unique architecture, works by European masters, as well as the El Retiro park; the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona, which is characterized by the extravagant modernist works of Antoni Gaudí, such as the Sagrada Familia temple; also Toledo, the former capital of the country and seat of the Spanish Catholic Church; It is something we enjoy a lot. Another thing we also enjoyed was the food, the Paella, and of course the Tapas accompanied by a Mahou beer.

The exquisiteness of its cuisine is also unique, especially the quattro formaggi pizzas, ravioli and pasta carbonara; its famous gelato, tiramisu; and also Peroni beer.

Vatican

Visiting the territory stretching from Eastern Europe to Western Asia, with cultural connections to the ancient Greek, Persian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires, is something else. Visit Smyrna, the ancient capital of Asia Minor, which was founded by the Greeks, captured by the Romans and rebuilt by Alexander the Great; cosmopolitan Istanbul, on the Bosphorus Strait, home to the iconic Hagia Sophia, the massive 17th-century Blue Mosque and Topkapı Palace; They are memories that we treasure. We couldn't stop enjoying the döner kebap and of course we sweetened our visit with the Baklava. And the beer we enjoyed was Efes Pilsen.

USA
The United States of America is the leading power in the world, a huge country, and also the place where the most Mexicans live after our country. We have learned a little about him from both coasts: On the west coast we have as a reference the state of California, of which, to the north, we have been to San Francisco and crossed the Golden Gate to Sausalito and its Redwood forest; to the south, San Diego, Los Angeles, and of course Hollywood, where we have visited theme parks such as Disneyland, California Adventure, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm and Sea World. From the state of Nevada, Las Vegas, in the Mojave Desert, which is a tourist city famous for its active nightlife and its unparalleled shows. On the east coast, our reference are the three states of the three capitals that the United States has had, starting with New York, with the gigantic city of the same name, which was the first capital, and now with its majestic Statue of the Freedom 🗽continues to welcome immigrants, where Wall Street is, the largest stock exchange on the planet, and where the headquarters of the United Nations Organization, the Parliament of the World, is also located; Pennsylvania, with Philadelphia, which was the second capital and is home to the place where the United States Declaration of Independence was debated and adopted, as well as the Liberty Bell; and the District of Columbia, with the city of Washington, the current capital, home of the Capitol, the White House, and also the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Organization of American States, and the Inter-American Development Bank. In the northeast we have also been to Delaware, with its snowy landscapes, and we have crossed its Delaware Memorial Bridge, which is a double-span suspension bridge that crosses the Delaware River. And in the southeast, we have had the opportunity to be in Texas, visiting Houston, the cradle of space travel. As a special mention, I must mention the state of Arizona, where Phoenix is located, the headquarters city of Arizona State University, where I had the opportunity to study for a summer and visit several places such as Sedona and the Grand Canyon. If we talk about American food, fast food would be the most representative food of all. That's why, for us, the best American food is burgers from In-n-Out in the west, and Shake Shack in the east. And the best beer is Coors light and Modelo Oro (they only make it in this country) only because the gringos are pioneers in light and ultra-light beers.

Visiting one of the four constituent nations of the United Kingdom was an unforgettable experience. The capital, London, has been an important human settlement since it was founded by the Romans under the name Londinium almost two millennia ago. It is also a modern and multicultural artistic and commercial center. In its center rise the imposing Palace of Parliament, the tower of "Big Ben" and Westminster Abbey, site of British monarchical coronations. Across the River Thames, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. At lunch, we enjoyed the Full English breakfast with its unique poach eggs to start our day with energy; We didn't miss the opportunity to go into a pub and try the Fish and Chips accompanied by a London Pride pale ale; We also loved the Yorkshire pudding.

Aunque en este país los tintos son muy buenos, la cerveza Kronenbourg 1664 es muy buena.

From its gastronomy, in addition to the famous Bitterballen, the Volendamse provides a very good and varied dish. We recognize that they make a very delicious gouda cheese. As for beers, more than Heineken and Amstel, Robuust blonde is a better option.

It is a republic with a landscape of forests, rivers, mountain ranges and beaches on the North Sea. Getting to know Berlin, its capital, dates back to the 13th century and has art and nightlife sites, the Brandenburg Gate and many sites related to World War II was an unparalleled experience. Elements reminiscent of the city's turbulent 20th-century history include the Holocaust Memorial and the graffitied remains of the Berlin Wall. Also being in Bavaria and going up to Neuschwanstein Castle; walk around Munich, visit the city hall building, have a beer with friends in a Bier Garden; as well as visiting the first concentration camp in history in Dachau, to the north, is something we will never forget. The food in this country is very delicious, the Bratwurst, and for dessert the Apfelstrudel, the Schnitzel, and the famous Bretzel. The beautiful confederation located in a mountainous territory in the south-west of Central Europe, with several lakes, villages and the high peaks of the Alps that left us dazzled. Also being in Zurich, which in addition to being its most populated city, is a very beautiful place, and staying in a hotel at the top with the best view of all, was incredible. A must-try Swiss dish that is also very delicious is Cheese Fondue; the richest beer Feldschlösschen.

Another micro country that houses the only sovereign grand duchy today. It is mostly rural, with the dense Ardennes forest and green areas in the north, the rocky gorges of the Mullerthal region in the east and the Moselle River valley in the southeast. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is famous for its ancient medieval fortified city that sits on steep cliffs, we loved it. Because meats are an essential part of Luxembourg dishes, our favorite dish was Panaché du Boucher, accompanied by Bofferding beer.

Being in this duchy that is one of the six micro-States of Europe was unique. Visit its cathedral, the parliament building, and walk the streets of Vaduz, its capital. Its territory is the result of the union of two enclaves: Vaduz and Schellenberg, made up of a total of eleven communities. The capital is Vaduz and the most populated city is Schaan. The principality was known for being considered a tax haven. Although it is not a member of the European Union, since December 2011 it has been part of the European free movement area. If you have to try a dish in this country it must be Schnitzel. The beer we liked the most (and the only one they have) was Brauhaus.

One of the twenty-seven sovereign states that make up the European Union. This country, heir to the Holy Roman Empire and place of accession to the throne of the House of Habsburg, is very beautiful. Walk through Hallstatt-Dachstein, whose cultural landscape was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and sail on its lake; being in Salzburg, birthplace of Amadeus Mozart and home of the RedBull museum, enjoying classical music and the beauty of its streets; and visit Vienna, its federal capital, admire its important artistic heritage by listening to an opera and classical music concert by Mozart, Strauss and Wagner, as well as seeing Montezuma's Plume in the Museum of Ethnology and visiting the Schönbrunn Palace and the Imperial Crypt Vienna, birthplace and resting place of Ferdinand Maximilian Von Mexiko, is unmatched. Enjoying a Frittatensuppe to give way to a Wiener schnitzel is priceless, both are delicious. In addition, Austrians are also beer lovers, our favorite is Gösser, although Stiegl Golbrau is not far behind.

Being in the Slovak Republic when visiting Bratislava, one of the smallest capitals on the European continent, is a pleasure thanks to its compact historic center on the banks of the Danube.
