One of the most rewarding skills that human beings have in life is to tell history through writing. I enjoy it. That is why when they invited me to collaborate on the book TOTOTLÁN, LUGAR DE PAJAROS, which the State Government published on the occasion of Jalisco's 200 years as a free and sovereign State, it was a true pleasure.

During the investigations, the initiative was born to tell the story of the rulers that Tototlán has had, the one that no one has told: the one that is interesting, controversial, fun, happy and also sad, but real, as we humans are. By sharing some, just some, of the minutiae that, through the municipalities, defined the destinies of our community, I discovered that the history of the municipal rulers is captivating. It is closely related to the political history of Mexico as a whole, and should not be overlooked.

LAS MINUCIAS DEL CABILDO, Los gobernantes de Tototlán entre la tenpestad y la calma, seeks to honor local memory. Something that fascinated me from the first moment I had the 1866 book in my hands, the oldest one the municipal government has. Yes, the history of Tototlán is impressive and artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the world. Why not take advantage of both to create an audiobook and learn about our past? Hear the history of the municipality through the people who have governed it, and how they have directed the public life of this noble land plagued by organized crime.
